यह वही transformation है जो हर AI-augmented profession में हो रहा है। Google I/O 2026 ने pattern दिखाया knowledge workers के लिए broadly: AI routine execution handle करता है, humans judgment और strategy handle करते हैं। Designers के लिए specifically, shift इस तरह दिखता है:
कम समय इन पर: existing patterns के variants create करना, consistent styling apply करना, standard screens build करना (settings, profiles, lists, forms), states create करना (error, loading, empty), responsive breakpoints, layer organization, placeholder content।
ज्यादा समय इन पर: user research और synthesis, information architecture, novel patterns के लिए interaction design, design system strategy, stakeholder communication और alignment, accessibility strategy, creative direction और art direction।
